CarterBice-- averaged 18.8 points and 1.4 assists on 73.6% FG in five regular-season SF games, making him one of the best offense-first candidates. Defensively, he held Foundito to 18 and 17 in two meetings and made Venom use 18 shots for 23 points, although Venom's 11 assists show that Carter suppressed scoring better than total creation.
Against Obsidian in Round 2, Carter scored 21 on seven-of-eight from three in the complete game. TBuc answered with 21 and nine assists but committed three turnovers. A shortened second loss had TBuc at only six points when play stopped, which counts as context but not a complete individual line.
Why not higher: Moderate steal production and TD Prep's middle-to-lower team-defense context leave a gap from the better stoppers.
Why not lower: His scoring volume, efficiency and credible matchup results give him more two-way value than the remaining offense-first group.
