Team context: Bottom five in opponent PPG; Round 2 exit
oiHoop’s individual production is much better than his team record. He owns one of the largest samples, scored efficiently, added more secondary playmaking than most SFs and generated 2.5 steals. He also drew perhaps the position’s hardest slate: Kari, SrryHoodie, KidBuu, ItsBleus, JustaCasual, Drip and SxuChris all appear in his assignment history.
The defense did not hold often enough. Kari scored 41, ItsBleus posted games of 35/16 and 38/11, SrryHoodie reached 33/12, and KidBuu scored 29 on 11-for-12. There were strong moments—SxuChris was held to 23 and 20 in two regular-season meetings, and HomieKirk scored 20 on 7-for-17 in the documented Paladins playoff game—but the full body of work contains too many dominant opposing-PG lines.
Why not higher: Difficult assignments explain part of the damage, not all of it.
Why not lower: Fifteen games of efficient scoring, playmaking and turnover creation against that schedule carry substantial individual value, and Witness did not reach the Elite Eight.
