Season 2 SF ranking analysis

Regular season: 4 SF games, 4-0, 12.0 PPG, 1.8 SPG, 72.0% FG, 76.9% 3PT
Playoffs: 7 complete SF games, 12.3 PPG, 0.9 APG, 2.1 SPG, 0.7 TO, 70.8% FG, 64.3% 3PT;

Team context: No. 7 in opponent PPG; No. 3 in opponent FG%

OJC was a winning, efficient role player on an excellent defensive team. His best playoff matchup came against TD Prep: Guard-My-Tempo scored 10 and committed seven turnovers in the completed game, while OJC scored 16 and recorded six steals. He also created four steals in each documented game against Paladins, and Obsidian’s top-three opponent-FG% defense adds legitimate context.

The elite assignments also reveal the limitation. Sinnerz had 20 points and 16 assists in one Elite Eight game; Precisionkill scored 38 in one semifinal game; and Cova erupted for 51 and 33 in the two documented Finals losses. OJC scored 23 in the 51-point Cova game, but those are still major defensive losses. Obsidian advancing after Paladins’ disqualification is retained as team context, not treated as an on-court series win for OJC’s individual evaluation.

Why not higher: The opposing PG explosions are too large to overcome with record and team defense.
Why not lower: He has real disruption games, efficient offense and a substantial high-leverage playoff sample on a top defensive unit.
