SPLURG3 was one of Season 1's highest-scoring and most efficient regular-season backends. Backend Family went 4-1 with him at PF and 0-6 without him there, a powerful indication that his presence stabilized the lineup. His spacing forced defenses to honor the backend and created room for the rest of the offense.
The playoffs exposed the limits of the profile. His scoring and overall shooting collapsed in an 0-2 loss to Always Doubted, even though his rebounding and steals rose. The regular-season steal rate was also modest, so the anchor case relies more on lineup results than dominant individual defensive production.
Why not higher: The playoff decline and thinner defensive résumé prevent a top-15 placement.
Why not lower: His regular-season scoring, efficiency and dramatic positive effect on winning remain historically meaningful.
