Carter is the highest-ranked offense-first candidate after ViCiouS. His 18.8 points on nearly 74% shooting came with only moderate defensive support. The regular-season matchup record was mixed but respectable: he held Foundito to 18 and 17 in two meetings, and Venom needed 18 shots for 23 points. Venom’s 11 assists and other high-assist games show Carter was better at suppressing scoring than completely erasing creation.

Against Obsidian in Round 2, Carter scored 21 on 7-for-8 from three in the completed game. On the other end, TBuc scored 21 with nine assists, but turned it over three times; Carter also contributed to a shortened game in which TBuc had only six points when play stopped. The evidence is not elite-lockdown level, but it is enough to keep his tremendous offense from being discounted.

Why not higher: One steal per game and middling team-defense context leave a gap from the more proven stoppers.
Why not lower: No one below him matches his combination of scoring volume, efficiency and at least defensible matchup results.
