Buddy’s complete season was less spectacular than his scorching opening stretch, but the matchup record remains good enough for the top four. He helped hold Tris to 13 on 4-for-13, KidBuu to 21 on 7-for-18 and MVPGOTNEXT to 10 on 3-for-10. His own offense was efficient and scalable rather than empty volume.
The major damage came against Riot Shabang, who scored 31 in consecutive meetings, and ItsBleus followed with 30. Those games matter heavily in a defense-first ranking and are why Buddy cannot sit with the top three. Still, even the Bleus performance came on 12-for-22 overall and 5-for-14 from three, while Buddy’s full nine-game record contains more genuine stops than most of the field.
Why not higher: The late elite-PG results were too damaging.
Why not lower: His combination of credible matchup wins, efficient offense and a No. 5 opponent-FG% team context is stronger and more balanced than the cases below him.
