Scottie has the best overall PF résumé because he paired elite individual defensive production with real two-way offense and winning. His 3.8 steals, 3.7 assists and 67/68 shooting are unmatched as a complete regular-season backend line. Obsidian’s No. 3 opponent-FG% finish supports the defensive case without being the only reason for it.
The playoff offense dropped sharply, but the activity remained: six steals against TD Prep in the completed Round 2 game, four in each played game against Paladins and useful disruption through the Finals. Obsidian’s advancement over Paladins came by DQ, so that is not treated as an on-court series win.
Why not lower: Nobody else combines his defensive playmaking, secondary creation, efficiency, undefeated regular-season PF record and deep playoff workload.
Concern: the playoff shooting decline and modest rebounding keep the gap from being enormous.
