xM1Rzx produced the strongest combination of defensive activity, playmaking and winning outside Scottie. He generated 2.8 steals and nearly four assists during a 4-0 regular-season PF sample, then raised the steal rate to 3.0 in four playoff games. His five-steal performances against Five Star Prospects and Prolific are the type of possession-swinging production that directly supports the backend case.

Krypt’s No. 4 opponent-PPG defense matters, although the No. 14 opponent-FG% rank suggests the unit was not an across-the-board shooting clamp. His own regular-season shooting was also mediocre before improving in the playoffs.

Why not No. 1: Scottie supplied better regular-season offense, a larger total sample and a deeper run.

Why not lower: xM1Rzx’s defensive production remained elite across both stages, and he contributed offensively rather than functioning as a one-way anchor.
