xoSmooth produced one of the league's clearest postseason rises. His Season 1 regular season was solid but came with a 3-7 PF record. In the playoffs he became an elite finisher and spacer, highlighted by a 22-point performance on 8-for-9 shooting and 6-for-6 from three as GTG reached the Elite Eight. GTG also assembled a dominant defensive stretch during its first four playoff wins.
Season 2 added a smaller but winning regular-season sample: efficient low-volume scoring, solid rebounding and a 4-1 record while GTG finished fifth in opponent field-goal percentage. He did not play PF in the available Round 2 playoff lineup, so those games are not borrowed from another position.
Why not higher: His individual defensive production was steadier than dominant, and the Season 2 sample lacked playoff confirmation.
